Brittany Lynne - Faculty Member - TAI Alumnus -ERYT 500
Brittany Lynne is a yoga & mindfulness teacher who leads classes, workshops, retreats and trainings internationally. She is a graduate from Tantric Alchemy Institute's Advanced Yoga Teacher Training program and is a frequent guest teacher alongside Dr. Liz Lindh at Lakshmi Rising School for Yoga and Wellness, both held at The Sanctuary at Two Rivers in Costa Rica.
After recognizing the power and life-changing effects of a regular asana & meditation practice in her own life, Brittany shifted a career in photography and film into one of sharing the practices that led her to a healthier and happier lifestyle. Brittany has studied Power Vinyasa, Hatha, Tantra, Restorative and Yin yoga, meditation, mindfulness, sound healing, breathwork and Yoga Nidra in California and Costa Rica. She has worked with prominent companies in Los Angeles including TOMS Shoes, Thrive Market, Manduka, Microsoft, Lionsgate, Murad, Belkin and Simple Human to bring mindfulness and meditation practices into the workplace. She also teaches online classes through Inner Dimension TV and her own website, beautifullyawakening.com.
Brittany’s asana practices include flows suitable for all levels, body shapes and abilities, strength-building power vinyasa flows with advanced balancing and flexibility postures to challenge the body, as well as calming and gentle restorative practices designed to invite the practitioner to move from the sympathetic into the parasympathetic nervous system. She has worked closely with Los Angeles-based power yoga master teachers Lauren Eckstrom & Travis Eliot to develop and design their book “Holistic Yoga Flow: The Path of Practice,” which emphasizes the benefits, detailed alignment points and contraindications of each pose as a reference for teachers and practitioners alike. Every body is unique and although anatomy can be similar, what might feel amazing in one person’s body can feel rather challenging in another. Brittany creates her practices with safe physical alignment in mind while also offering modifications to suit every body’s needs.
Brittany recognizes that a well-rounded asana practice isn’t just a physical one – it’s important to also understand and practice on a mental, emotional and intellectual level to take the entire Self to new levels of awakening. She is passionate about sharing yoga & meditation with her community and loves hearing people's stories of their own journeys of shifting into a more balanced way of living. Brittany takes a holistic approach to teaching, focusing on creative, intelligent sequencing while integrating breathwork, mantra, mudras, subtle anatomy, meditation, intention setting and inspiring themes into her practices. Her purpose, as a teacher, is to guide safe and fun alignment-based classes with the intention of cultivating present-moment awareness to invite balance and a deep sense of calm to her students. We all have a beautiful light within us – Brittany strives to share her light with the world and encourages others to do the same.
Sri Naganath - Founder, Ritual Leader
Naganath is the Chakra-Raja at Nagaloka Dhuni in the jungle between two rivers, where he continues advancing, refining, and expanding his studies and practices of Yoga, Tantrik Puja Rituals, Mantras, Meditation, Ayurveda, Jyotish, Vaastu, and Twilight Yoga. Naga, as teacher, sheds light on these esoteric subjects at the Modern Yoga School he founded in 2015, the Tantric Alchemy Institute, with the hope of bridging the western yoga world to the ancient practices and processes of true spiritual development and attainment.
Naga is also co-creator of and plant-based chef at The Sanctuary at Two Rivers in Costa Rica where he resides with his partner and their 4 year old daughter. Chef Naga released his internationally acclaimed Gaia Gourmet Vegan and Vegetarian Cookbook (Foreword by Dr. Robert Svoboda) in 2017.
Naganath is a Nath Tantrika Yogi and his initiate name translates as Lord of The Serpent. Serpent magick and mythology has deep analogous roots to alchemical processes throughout the ages and across cultures, and vibes closely to that of Kundalini Shakti or the Power Serpent Goddess who resides dormant in all individuals at the Muladhara Chakra until enlivened, excited, and channeled up the Sushumna, piercing all of the subsequent energy centers/chakras until ultimately joining her groom, Shiva, at the Sahasrara Chakra, allowing for the attainment, cultivation and development of certain spiritual powers or Siddhis.
Naga’s spiritual development and journey took formation in 1989 when he was studying Japanese at university, which subsequently inspired him to visit Nippon, the Land of the Rising Sun. It was on that sacred island of ancient traditions, where Naga found resonance within their Buddhist temples, gardens, rituals and ceremonies. From here, Naga delved eastward into the Tao igniting an insatiable appetite for Eastern Philosophies, which led him through the Himalayas sourcing various streams of Indian Thought. This ardent pursuit led the neophyte to meeting his spiritual mentor Dr. Robert Svoboda, renowned author and scholar of various Tantric Sciences, and Naga’s Guru, Sri Kapilnath, Imperator Magus Mundi of the International Nath Order (INO), in the years 2003 and 2004 respectively. After 12 years of sincere study and practice as a Tantrika in this Nath Sampradaya, Naganath was granted a Charter to Initiate earnest seekers into the INO and guide them along The Path.
